You could get FIVE calendars for your efforts
If you have taken an outstanding example of a design principle in action, your image could be selected and included in a future permaculture calendar.
The selected submissions, one for each month, will receive 5 x Permaculture Calendars along with their project / image featured for a month in the calendar. Photo credits and web links are also supplied on the back page of the calendar to help provide exposure.
Submission that don't make the calendar may still feature in the photolog - which is a great place to get some inspiration. If you don't already have a copy of the calendar, you can download a sample of last years one to see the high standards that we set.
We require a high quality digital photo (Six megapixel or above, high resolution 2-5MB jpeg file) in landscape format, that illustrates a principle, along with a brief background to the photo so we can see how to relate it to a principle.
If you are making a submission for the calendar and the people in the photo are clearly recognisable, you will need to download, fill in and send us this form to obtain their permission.
Contributions to the photolog are welcome!
If you have taken an interesting digital photo and have a story to tell about how it demonstrates a specific design principle then send it to us. Your image and story will be featured on our home page and in the photolog. This is a great way to share your story with like minded people and link them to your project.
Submit a sub heading of maximum seven words, and a description of maximum 80 words. Keeping the word count down keeps with the tone of the site, which is deliberately short on text, and strongly graphic. For examples, see the principle descriptions and photolog pages.
Send your photos in as jpeg files at about 400 pixels wide / tall for easy uploading and emailing (that's less than a 100KB file).
